Philanthropic Support
Club members founded and support organizations to channel their philanthropic efforts. In 2009 there were 11,000 Chicago inner-city youths enrolled in one of our four Boys & Girls Clubs. Out of all of our members, 97% graduate from high school. The crime rate for our Club members remains 0% in neighborhoods that are rife with gang and crime problems. Out of the 5,500 female members served in 2009, our teen pregnancy rate was 0%. We do all we can to help our students succeed. These young people may also enjoy a summer camp experience at our 250-acre residential camp in Salem, Wisconsin.
The Civic & Arts Foundation's mission is to develop and promote programs that support education, civic responsibility, and the arts for children and young adults in the Chicago Metropolitan area. Our emphasis is on programs that the Foundation initiates, develops, and funds. Our programs target financial need and merit.
The Chicago Engineers' Foundation provides scholarships to college-bound engineering students to help launch their academic careers.
