Programs and Tours
Art comes alive at the Union League Club and generates ideas and provokes discussion. The Club presents a range of lively on-going activities to promote the appreciation and understanding of the art in the collection. Via docent-led tours of the collection the general public has an opportunity to learn about and engage with the Union League Club's art collection. Reflecting its commitment to community, the Club also recognizes the contributions of esteemed Chicago artists with honorary memberships as part of their Distinguished Artists Program.
Monthly Art Tours
On the first Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m., the general public may enjoy a tour of highlights from the art collection. Tours are usually 45-60 minutes and are geared toward an adult audience. Guided tours are free but reservations are required and must be made well in advance of each monthly tour.
To reserve a place on the monthly public tour, please contact Club Curator Elizabeth K.Whiting at 312.435.5942 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Union League Club’s dress code applies during all tours: no jeans or gym shoes. Men are required to wear collared shirts. Further restrictions will be at the discretion of the Club. Please see our dress code here.
