The Union League Club of Chicago understands how hard it is to create time for some of the essential parts of life. It's one of the reasons the Club continues to increase its amenities and services. Not to be excluded is the family programming available at the ULCC and the opportunity to meet other families.

Some ULCC members grew up in the Club attending Breakfast with the Easter Bunny or Halloween, the Father Daughter Dance or the Saturday Family Program (a program for children ages 2-12 providing instruction in a variety of disciplines including swimming, karate, dance and yoga). They, in turn, have brought their families to the Club because they have found the benefit of surrounding themselves with a diverse collection of families and programming.

Throughout the years, the Club has continued to build on its family programming including a breakfast with the Blue Angels, a summer camp, holiday programs and much more!

The Union League Club is for the entire family and is a home away from home for many.
 

 

ULCC Family Programs

Saturday Family Program in the Health Club

Each winter, the Club organizes a 10-week program for kids from 2 to 12 years old. The program includes instruction in swimming, karate, dance and yoga. Parents are required to accompany their tiny tots (2-4-year-olds) each week. Kids aged 5-12 will be under the supervision of the instructors.  
 

Father Daughter Dance

Welcoming fathers and daughters of all ages. This has become a family tradition with generations of daughters attending with their fathers and grandfathers. An elegant evening is planned with dinner and a live band for dancing.
 

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

The perfect opportunity for your young ones to meet the Easter Bunny! Breakfast, Easter egg hunt and precious photos with the Easter Bunny. An annual event.
 

Easter Brunch

A spectacular brunch to celebrate the season. Kids are enthralled with the live petting zoo including bunnies, chicks and more. The Easter Bunny returns for additional photo opportunities. An annual event.
 

Summer Camp in August

Create your own experience camp. Kids and parents choose the track based on their interests. This one-week camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

5-12 year olds - The day is broken up into blocks. Each block is filled with activities chosen for their track. Previous years have included selections from (block a) theater, sports, Lego experience and (block b) karate, movie making, art, yoga.

13 -15-year-olds - Teen camp. Their day is also broken up into blocks filled with activities chosen for their track. Previous years have included selections from cooking, rock band, movie making, sports, art, yoga.
 

Family Halloween Party

No need to leave Chicago for hayrides and a frightening haunted house. The Club transforms, for one night only, into a spooky and fun spot for Halloween. All ages are welcome to experience an incredibly designed Haunted House along with a buffet dinner, crafts, trick or treating, hayrides, dancing and carnival games. 
 

Children's Holiday Party

The Club once again transforms; this time into a winter wonderland. This is the perfect time for the kids to meet and take a photo with Santa! The festivities include sleigh rides, crafts, a variety show that changes every year and lunch. Each child receives a gift from Santa. 
 

Gingerbread House Crafting

All the supplies to make your perfect gingerbread house. The good news is, your house is already built. All you need to do is decorate it! This is a fantastic event for all ages. Includes buffet lunch and all the supplies needed to make your perfect house.
